Well that was a hectic one, we were glad to see the last Christmas tree go out to it's home. We got through a fair few boxes of Turkish wreaths and endless amounts of spruce for wreath making courses! A huge Thank You to all of our customers who have supported us over the last year & best wishes for 2025!
Some of you may have seen our ghosts in the warehouse over Halloween on our social media! We loved joining in with this TikTok trend, our ghosts had a Fabooolous time creating these pictures, especially with the Booquets!

On Sunday 5th May, Emma and her son Zac (11) took on the challenge of a 15 mile dribble-a-thon to raise sponsorship for The Grand Appeal Charity. This took them just under 5 hours to complete. It started off well then the storms came in! The Bloom Room Family were there to cheer them on. Total raised was a fabulous £700!
The Bloom Room have officially closed the shutter on Unit 9 and have moved into our other Unit, No 19 on the same estate in Kenn Court Business Park. We will update you of our exciting plans in due course.
As a thank you for our fundraising efforts and for the bouquets we provide the hospital, we were invited to attend an exclusive event at the Grand Appeal Shop at Cribbs causeway. It was a lovely evening meeting other fundraisers and we even got to meet Wallace and Gromit! Thank you to The Grand Appeal charity for having us!
We were delighted to be asked to help with the garden at The Cots for Tots House in Bristol. We have helped maintain the garden for many years but the grass and weeds get out of hand very quickly! Emma helped to clear the area for some new grass and some lovely plants in the border areas. It was great to see that a number of our own customers had donated plants for this project. What a transformation and a space that families can enjoy.
You may have seen a few updates on our Social Media recently of Emma completing her dance challenge for The Grand Appeal Charity. On Sunday 21st May, Emma danced 50,000 steps which took her 7 hours and 36 minutes! Emma raised £620 smashing her target so a huge thank you to everyone that donated!
We were delighted to receive some feedback from The Grand Appeal Charity regarding the bouquets and plants we give to the Bristol Children's hospital each month. The smiles on the faces of each recipient says it all! This is the lovely feedback we received:
"Everyone that has received a bunch has been so grateful and has said how lovely the gesture is and how lovely the flowers are. They have been a real morale booster for the staff that receive them, we are really grateful".
"Thank you so much for the flowers, it was such a kind surprise walking into shift and receiving these, they made me smile all shift and every time I saw them."
It is a real pleasure to work with The Grand Appeal Charity and be part of their well being programme!

During 2022 we were pleased to be able to continue our support to The Grand Appeal Charity by providing a bouquet of flowers or a plant for a member of staff once a month as part of their well being programme. We have also donated flowers to all of the staff who work around the clock at The Cots for Tots house as a Birthday treat and hope this has brought a smile to each recipient!

Emma was happy to be back volunteering for the Cots for Tots House in Bristol. The garden had been left for a while and with the warmer weather, it was time to get it tidied so that the families staying at the house can enjoy the outdoor space. The Bloom Room Bristol donated a mixture of plants to add a splash of colour too. Emma got to re-paint the famous Gromit on the wall which is an iconic part of the garden. What a great job done by all.

Huge thanks to the Bloom Room Bristol for their fantastic support of The Grand Appeal and Cots for Tots. Every month they support us by providing a beautiful bouquet which is given to a staff member working in Bristol Children's Hospital in recognition of their hard work. We are so grateful to everyone at the Bloom Room Bristol for their continued support and for helping us to support patients, staff and families when they need it most.
Well done to Ollie on completing the Bristol half marathon and raising a huge £885 for Cots for Tots. Thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported him.
The Grand Appeal Charity
Emma volunteered to help clear the garden for The Grand Appeal Charity. These aren’t the type of plants we like to see! The Bloom Room also treated the house to some garden furniture and planters to make it feel cosier for the families staying at the house.
